We are a community dedicated to the Gospel and the spirituality of Saint Benedict. Members are married and single, men and women, young and old. We include lay people and those called to religious ministry from all parts of Great Britain and abroad.

The Lay Community of St. Benedict is not based in a specific location as members live in all parts of Great Britain and further afield. There are already active regional groups and members are keen to develop local groups to attract those who are interested in Benedictine spirituality.
While our roots lie in the Catholic Church, members from other Christian traditions have always played a full part in the life of the community which seeks to create a ‘holy space’ where members can learn from one another and grow together in love and service of our creator.
